ABOUT THE SANY STH625
The SANY STH625 is a compact fixed-boom telehandler designed for construction sites where space and access are limited. Measuring approximately 1.85 metres wide and 1.92 metres high without its beacon, it can work in locations that may be unsuitable for larger machines.
Despite its compact dimensions, the STH625 has a maximum rated lifting capacity of 2,500 kg and can lift materials to a maximum height of 6 metres. Its Dana hydrostatic transmission and fully proportional joystick provide controlled movement and precise load positioning.
Three selectable steering modes—two-wheel, four-wheel and crab steering—give the machine excellent manoeuvrability. Operator features include a ROPS/FOPS-certified cab, adjustable suspension seat, air conditioning, 10-inch display, reversing camera and LED work lights.
FAQs
How much can the SANY STH625 lift?
The maximum rated lifting capacity is 2,500 kg. Actual capacity depends on the boom position, forward reach, load centre and fitted attachment.
How high can it lift?
The STH625 has a maximum lifting height of approximately 6 metres.
Can it lift 2.5 tonnes to its maximum height?
No. Its published capacity at maximum lift height is 2,000 kg. The 2,500 kg maximum rating only applies within the relevant area of the machine’s load chart.
What can it lift at maximum reach?
The published capacity at maximum forward reach is approximately 800 kg. Operators must consult the load chart before every lift.
Is it suitable for restricted-access sites?
Yes. Its compact dimensions and tight turning radius make it particularly suitable for smaller construction sites, renovation projects and low-access environments.
How wide and tall is the machine?
It is approximately 1.85 metres wide and 1.92 metres high without the beacon. Site access should still be checked before delivery.
NEED HELP CHOOSING?
Our team is here to help you find the right machine for your project.
What steering modes does it have?
The STH625 offers two-wheel steering, four-wheel steering and crab steering.
Does the hire include forks?
A standard fork carriage and forks can normally be supplied. Please confirm the required configuration when requesting your quote.
Are other attachments available?
Compatible buckets and material-handling attachments may be available. Every attachment must be approved for the machine and used with the appropriate load chart.
Can fork extensions be fitted?
Only approved and compatible fork extensions should be used. Extensions move the load centre forwards and can significantly reduce lifting capacity.
Does the operator require training?
Yes. The machine must only be operated by someone who is trained, competent and authorised to use the telehandler and fitted attachment.
Can it be used for suspended loads?
Only when an approved lifting attachment and the correct load chart are available. The lifting operation must be assessed and planned by a competent person.
Can people be lifted on the forks?
No. People must never be carried on forks, pallets or improvised platforms. Any personnel-lifting operation requires approved equipment and a suitable safe system of work.
Can it operate on uneven ground?
The machine requires firm, stable ground. Slopes, soft surfaces, excavations, overhead hazards and ground conditions must be assessed before operation.
Does it have stabilisers or chassis levelling?
The standard STH625 does not use stabilisers or frame levelling. It is especially important to position the machine on suitable, level ground.
What safety features are included?
Features include a ROPS/FOPS-certified cab, load-weight monitoring, load moment indicator, operator-presence system, high-visibility seatbelt, reversing camera, distance sensor and reversing alarm.
What should be checked before use?
Daily checks should cover the tyres, forks, carriage, boom, hydraulic system, fluid levels, load chart, warning devices, mirrors, camera and safety systems.
Can you deliver the telehandler to site?
Yes. Delivery and collection can be arranged across Yorkshire. Suitable access and a firm, level unloading area will be required.
What information is needed for a quote?
Provide the site location, hire dates, load weights, required height and reach, access restrictions, ground conditions and any attachments needed.
